The McLoud Public Library is the place to be in McLoud!
Built in 1997, the McLoud Public Library is the newest branch of the Pioneer Library System. With over 12,000 items in our collection and a circulation of over 40,000 items to the community, we connect our customers to the joy of reading and information for lifelong learning.
We offer a wide range of programming for all ages-everything from preschool storytimes and activities to teen crafts and author visits. We have a fun-filled Summer Reading program that offers something for everyone, including an end of summer Book Bucks Carnival for our younger patrons. One of our favorite programs is the Ravenous Readers, an adult book discussion group that meet monthly to eat and dish about books.
Besides books, one of the more popular aspect of the library is our public computers with free internet access. Every day after school the library is full of young teens using the internet, not only playing games but also to research music and homework.
The Milburn Meeting Room is available for public functions and used extensively by the community for civic meetings, birthdays, showers, and other gatherings.
