The McLoud Public Library will host a series of monthly computer classes in September, hosting three days of classes for beginning computer users.
Classes will take place from 10:30 a.m. to noon the first Tuesday through Thursday of each month through May at the library, 133 N. Main St.
The September schedule features:
Tuesday, Sept. 6 – Introduction to Computers – the class offers basic skills in using both the mouse and keyboard.
Wednesday, Sept. 7 – Introduction to e-mail – participants will learn about and set up an e-mail account from one of several optional Internet sites, including Yahoo!, Gmail and AOL.
Thursday, Sept. 8 – Introduction to Internet Searching – participants will learn Internet terms in plain English and also get an introduction to social networking and searching some of the Pioneer Library System’s databases.
