Pioneer Library System will provide “Financial Fitness” through support from FINRA Foundation grant
The Pioneer Library System is among the public libraries and systems nationwide that have been selected for a Smart investing@your library® grant from the American Library Association and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Investor Education Foundation.
Beginning in September inside its libraries, PLS will offer free informational brochures and guides on such topics as saving money for college, building a credit report, keeping a budget, and fighting investor fraud.
In addition, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Central Oklahoma has produced resource sheets that will give specific tips on six key areas of healthy financial living – fiscal strength, budgeting, credit, borrowing, avoiding or eliminating debt and staying fiscally fit.
Visit the Financial Fitness display at your hometown library and Get Moving Towards Financial Freedom.
