Bring the joy of reading to the palm of your hand. The OverDrive library collection is now available on your iPhone and Android cell phone. Now you can have thousands of OverDrive eBooks and public domain eBooks right on your cell phone. Listed below is step-by-step directions on turning your iPhone or Android into a reading machine.

iPhone/ iPod Touch/ iPad (Required IOS v4.0 or newer)

1. Open the App Store

2. Search for "OverDrive Media Console"

3. Download free app

4. Open OverDrive app

5. Tap “Get Books" in top right corner

6. Tap “Add a Library”

7. Search for library
         a."Pioneer Library System" or your City or Zip Code

8. Tap name of your hometown library

9. Tap area that says “eBooks and Audiobook” below name of library

10. Find eBook or Audiobook that you want to download

11. Tap “Add to my downloads”

12. Tap either “Proceed to Check Out” or “Continue Browsing”

13. Enter your Pioneer Library card number and PIN when prompted
          a.If you do not have one, click here to register for a library card.

14. Tap "Download" button to download book

15. To view book, sign-in with your Adobe ID when prompted
          a.If you do not have an Adobe ID or forgot your log in, click here.

16. After book has downloaded click the title to begin reading

17. Enjoy READING!!!

Android (Requires Android v1.5 or newer)

1. Open App Market

2. Search for "OverDrive Media Console"

3. Install app

4. Open OverDrive app

5. Press your phone's "menu" button

6. Tap “Get Books"

7. Tap “Add a Library’

8. Search for library
          a."Pioneer Library" or your City or Zip Code

9. Tap name of your hometown library

10. Tap area that says "eBooks and Audiobooks” below name of library

11. Find eBook or Audiobook that you want to download

12. Tap “Add to my Downloads”
