The Blanchard Public Library welcomes local juggling expert Monica Buck for a program, “Juggling in the Dark,” part of this year’s series of Summer Reading Program activities, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, at the library, 205 NE 10th St.
The program is geared to children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Buck will show them several juggling types, including a glow-in-the-dark juggling demonstration and teaching the worldwide juggling pattern with a three-scarf cascade.
Buck has traveled across the region teaching juggling in workshops, describing juggling as “a process of self-esteem in action.”
The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Blanchard Public Library.
Registration is not required to attend.
