The Blanchard Public Library is getting local high school students ready for prom season with a Pre-Prom Exchange and Fashion Show, set for 4:30 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the library, 205 NE 10th St.
Area teens are invited to show off, exchange or even donate any of their used prom dresses and accessories and get good ideas for what they might wear this spring.
There also will be hair and makeup tips, snacks and a drawing for a hair-styling coupon.
Items cannot be sold during the event, but anyone wishing to donate a dress for the exchange may bring it by the library at any time prior to the program.
Registration is requested to attend and may be completed at the library, by calling 485-2275 or online here .
