The Blanchard Public Library will host a Hunter Education course provided by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at the library, 205 NE 10th St.
Brian Meskimen, Game Warden in McClain County with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife, will teach the course.
Any children age 11 and under who take part in the class are required to have parent or guardian with them as well.
The day will feature a one-hour break for lunch at noon. Participants are asked to note that lunch will not be provided at the library, so they will have to make their own arrangements.
Registration is required to attend the class.
