The McLoud Public Library looks to connect readers with their next great book, hosting the program “What’s HOT and How to Get It,” set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, at the library, 133 N. Main St.
The event will serve as the monthly meeting for McLoud’s Ravenous Readers book group.
Pioneer Library System book selectors Anne Harris, Cindy Stevens and Kate Lyon will make up the panel for a discussion, which is part of the library’s “Novel Destinations” Adult Summer Reading Program.
The trio makes up part of the book selection staff for the Pioneer Library System’s nine branch libraries.
The group will discuss favorites and new releases for adults in a variety of categories and genres. They’ll also give a question-and-answer session that includes discussion of the Pioneer Library System’s book selection process.
As per the tradition of the Ravenous Readers group, participants are invited to bring a covered dish to the program to share in a potluck meal that goes along with the discussion.
