Learn ways to use your new eReader and the library together

With many people getting into the world of eReaders and eBooks during the holiday gift-giving season, it’s a perfect time to learn more about those new technological gadgets.
The McLoud Public Library welcomes experts from the Pioneer Library System’s Virtual Library branch to talk about and show off the library’s offerings for users of eReaders at the program “Downloading to Your Mobile Device” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the library, 133 N. Main St.
Virtual Library staff will demonstrate how to use the Overdrive catalog used for the library’s downloadable resources. Participants who have an eReader are encouraged to bring it so they can get hands-on experience learning the system.
