Moore welcomes back Critter Tales for a summer visit

The Moore Public Library welcomes back the furry friends from Critter Tales for a visit to the library at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, in Rooms A and B of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

Jennifer Shore and her animal friends from the organization have given a popular program at the library for the last several years during the Summer Reading Program. Critter Tales brings not just the stories of the animals and what makes them special, but also hands-on artifacts such as owl wings or talons that audience members can handle.

And Shore brings along the stars of Critter Tales – a few of the “critters” themselves, who give a chance for audiences to see them in a safe and close-up setting.

Registration is not required to attend, but the room likely will fill quickly.

For more information on the program, visit the library’s children’s desk or call 793-4347.
