Moore Public Library
The Moore Public Library invites local children ages 6-12 to be part of its Science Club this summer.
This will be a three-part series, taking place at 10 a.m. on consecutive Fridays, July 11, 18, and 25, in Rooms A and B of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
The schedule for programs features:
July 11 – Water Cycle – Karla Beatty of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission will take children on a water adventure, as they’ll collect beads to make a water cycle bracelet and learn about the water cycle at the same time.
July 18 – Science Fun – the morning features a variety of science crafts and activities aiming to spark a sense of discovery in participants.
July 25 – Mobile Dairy – The Mobile Dairy Classroom brings its traveling milk parlor and live cow, as children see how milk gets to their table, starting from the milking of the cow. They’ll also make a delicious milk treat.
Registration is required separately for each week’s event.
