Moore taking applications throughout April for summer teen volunteers
The Moore Public Library is making a call to all local teens interested in helping their library during its busy summer schedule.
Teens ages 12 to 17 are invited to earn valuable work-related experience while helping staff in a variety of roles during June and July. Volunteer application packets will be available from April 1-30 at the Information Services Desk of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
Volunteers are needed to help sign up Summer Reading Program participants, assist during library programs, help staff prepare for events, hand out tickets, shelve books and other materials and to do tasks that go on behind the scenes at the public library.
All applications must be completed, signed, and returned to the Information Desk during the month of April. Volunteers chosen to participate will be notified the first week of May and asked to attend one of two orientation sessions.
For more information, visit the library’s Information Services Desk or call 793-4349.
