Sign up begins Feb. 27 for Moore's March computer classes

The Moore Public Library has announced its schedule for free public computer classes for March.
Class registration will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, and may be completed at the library, by calling 793-4349 or online under the Events Calendar . Separate registration is required for each class.
The March class schedule includes:
March 2, 9:30 a.m. – Computer Basics: Computer Basics: An introduction to the computer with practice using a mouse.
March 9, 9:30 a.m. – Internet Basics Part I: An introduction to the Internet. Learn basic browser and toolbar functions, and practice web surfing.
March 13, 9:30 a.m. – Internet Basics Part II: Go further on the internet by learning tools and tips that help you search the internet better and faster. Internet Basics Part I or equivalent is a prerequisite.
March 16, 9:30 a.m. – E-mail Basics: Learn the basics of using e-mail, including reading, sending, and deleting messages. Receive assistance with signing up for a free e-mail address.
March 20, 9:30 a.m. – Advanced E-mail: Learn advanced options of using e-mail. Includes working with folders and attachments. E-mail Basics or equivalent is a prerequisite.
March 22, 6:30 p.m. – Facebook for Beginners: A basic introduction to Facebook. Participants will register, learn about finding friends, accessing the Wall and Profile and Account information, plus learn how to protect your privacy. Intermediate computer skills are recommended. Participants must have an e-mail address and bring it, plus their password, to the class.
March 27, 9:30 a.m. – Basic Windows 7 Introduction to the operating software Microsoft Windows 7. Includes exploring the computer desktop and understanding the basics of Windows
