The Moore Public Library announces its schedule of free computer class for November. Classes will take place in the Computer Training Center of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.
Registration is required separately for each class and may be completed at the library, by calling 793-4349, or online here .
The November schedule includes:
Nov. 2, 9:30 a.m. – Computer Basics: An introduction to the computer with practice using a mouse.
Nov. 6, 9:30 a.m. – Internet Basics Part 1: An introduction to the internet. Learn basic browser and toolbar functions, and practice web surfing.
Nov. 9, 9:30 a.m. – Internet Basics Part 2: Go further on the internet by learning tools and tips that help you search the internet better and faster. Internet Basics Part I or equivalent is a pre-requisite.
Nov. 15, 6:30 p.m. – Basic Microsoft Publisher 2010: Learn basic elements of Microsoft Publisher 2010 and learn to make a greeting card. Holiday cards will be emphasized. Intermediate computer skills are recommended.
Nov. 20, 9:30 a.m. – Basic Windows 7: Introduction to the operating software Microsoft Windows 7. Includes exploring the computer desktop and understanding the basics of Windows 7.
Nov. 27, 9:30 a.m. – eBay Basics: Buying - Learn the basics of setting up an eBay account, how to shop wisely, and the mysteries of bidding. Intermediate computer skills recommended.
Nov. 30, 9:30 a.m. – eBay Basics: Selling - Learn how to research items to sell on eBay, set your price, navigate the sea of shipping options and cash in! Intermediate computer skills recommended.
