The Moore Public Library has announced its schedule for free computer classes for September.

Sept. 6, 9:30 a.m.: Computer Basics – An introduction to the computer with practice using a mouse.
Sept. 10, 9:30 a.m.: Basic Microsoft Word 2010 - Learn the basics of word processing software Microsoft Word 2010. Includes opening and saving a document and manipulating document text.
Sept. 13, 9:30 a.m.: Intermediate Microsoft Word 2010 - Learn intermediate word processing skills using Microsoft Word 2010, such as cut and paste, among others. Basic Microsoft Word 2010 or equivalent is a prerequisite.
Sept. 17, 9:30 a.m.: Basic Microsoft Excel Part 1 - Very basic introduction to the spreadsheet software Microsoft Excel 2010. Includes creating a simple worksheet. Intermediate computer skills are recommended.
Sept. 19, 6:30 p.m.: Basic Microsoft Excel Part 2 - Participants will learn to make calculations across multiple Excel worksheets, advanced cell formatting, and generating charts and graphs. Basic Microsoft Excel 2010 Part 1 or equivalent is a prerequisite.
Sept. 24, 9:30 a.m.: Basic Windows 7 - Introduction to the operating software Microsoft Windows 7. Includes exploring the computer desktop, working with files and folders, and understanding the basics of Windows 7.
Sept. 27, 9:30 a.m.: Pinterest for Beginners - Introduction to the social networking website that allows you to pin items of interest to a virtual pinboard. Create a login, create a board, and learn how to re-pin and create a pin! Intermediate computer skills are recommended.
