The Moore Public Library has set its schedule of free computer classes for November.
Classes take place in the Computer Training Center of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave., and feature hands-on practice for students to learn.
Registration is required for each individual class. To register, visit the library, call 793-4349, or self-register online at the library Events Calendar .
This month’s schedule includes:
Nov. 5, 9:30 a.m.: Computer Basics – An introduction to the computer with practice using a mouse.
Nov. 12, 9:30 a.m.: Basic Microsoft Word - Learn the basics of word processing software Microsoft Word 2010. Includes opening and saving a document and manipulating document text..
Nov. 19, 9:30 a.m.: Basic Windows 7—Introduction to the operating software Microsoft Windows 7. Includes exploring the computer desktop, working with files and folders, and understanding the basics of Windows 7
Nov 21, 6:30 p.m.: Basic Microsoft Publisher – Learn the fundamentals of Publisher software by making personalized holiday greeting cards.
