Newcastle Tween Book Club to meet
The Newcastle Public Library’s Tween Book Club, for ages 9-12, resumes its meeting schedule at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14. The group will meet monthly throughout most of the 2012-13 school year.
This month’s book will be “The Fantastic Secret of Owen Jester” by Barbara O’Conner.
In addition to discussion of the book, this month’s gathering will feature a special guest. The group also will take part in a related craft project and have refreshments provided by the Friends of the Newcastle Library.
Registration is not required to be part of the group.
