The Newcastle Public Library’s Teen Book Club kicks off a new year of discussions at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, with the first of a series of monthly meetings throughout the school year.
For the first meeting, teens will talk about all their favorite reads from the summer, as well as taking part in a craft project and enjoying snacks provided by the Friends of the Newcastle Library.
Books for the October discussion will be handed out at the meeting as well.
The group, for ages 13 to 18, meets monthly to discuss a different book.
Registration is not required to take part.
