Facing the death of a loved one can be one of the most difficult experiences a family can face. And an aspect of that is dealing with the accounts and information in the person’s name and managing those after they are gone.
The Newcastle Public Library takes on the topic with its program “Preparing the Facts of Life for Your Loved Ones” at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at the library, 705 NW 10th St.
The program presenter is Brandy Romine, of Sigmon Pilkington Wealth Management. Her presentation will look into many aspects of dealing with the death of a loved one, including handling of their investment accounts, insurance policies, checking/savings accounts or even their final wishes.
The presentation is offered free of charge, although registration is required in advance to attend. The Friends of the Newcastle Public Library will provide refreshments.
