The Newcastle Public Library has a busy day of book club gatherings on Thursday, Oct. 10. The teen, tween and adult Brown Bag Book Discussions each will take place at the library.
Topics for this month’s meetings are:
Brown Bag Book Discussion Group, 12:30 p.m. – Ages 18 and up are invited to read and discuss the Civil War-era book Blue Asylum by Kathy Hepinstall. Attendees are invited to bring a sack lunch and enjoy snacks provided by the Friends of the Newcastle Library.
Teen Book Club, 4 p.m., Thursday – Teens will take part in discussion and a related craft on the book Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. The group meets monthly throughout the school year for ages 13-18.
Tween Book Club, 4 p.m. – Ages 9 to 12 have the chance for their own monthly discussion and related craft project as well. They’ll be looking at the book Heart of a Shepherd by Roseanne Parry and enjoying snacks provided by the Friends of the Newcastle Library.
