Noble hosts “Entrepreneurship 101” workshop
The Noble Public Library will host a workshop for would-be business owners called “Entrepreneurship 101” from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the library 204 N. 5th St.
The program will feature the following range of topics:
Business Plan Basics – What to include in it, how to present it, and how the plan can help get your business get off the ground and growing
Finding Funding – Loan assistance, from how to approach a lender to what is expected of the borrower and what steps need to be done in advance of seeking financing
Small Business Financials – Understanding the financial basics of your small business, including reading and interpreting financial statements
Small Business Taxes and Registration – The different types of business structures and advantages and disadvantages of each
Marketing Demographics – Marketing plans and how to market without overextending your marketing budget.
What permits and licenses are required and how to obtain them, reporting procedures for small business taxes
The program is co-sponsored by the Pioneer Library System, SCORE, Moore-Norman Technology Center and the Rural Enterprises Inc. Women's Business Center.
