Just in time for the World Series, the baseball-themed work of local artist Mike Wimmer has taken residence in the Noble Public Library.
Wimmer’s collection of baseball-themed paintings is on display through Nov. 25 at the library, 204 N. 5th St. They focus on the legendary Babe Ruth and his career, a topic he also worked on with author Robert Burleigh in the book “Home Run: The Story of Babe Ruth,” a 1997 release by Harcourt Brace.
