Get good ideas for preserving a garden harvest with the class “Canning 101,” presented at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 18, in the Lowry Room of the Norman Public Library, 225 N. Webster Ave.
Brenda Hill, Family Consumer Sciences Educator with the Cleveland County OSU Extension Service, will lead the class, which is for ages 18 and up.
Hill will give a presentation on basic canning, with tips on more modern methods that participants may not have learned from a relative, or themselves, at a younger age.
Space is limited so registration is required to attend.
