Tweens invited to Norman’s Books to Box Office
The Norman Public Library’s monthly Books to Box Office program will take tweens on a literary trip back in time with its next three-week session of programs, set for 7 p.m. on three Mondays, Nov. 5, 19 and 26 in the Story Time Room of the library, 225 N. Webster Ave.
This month’s book is “The Invention of Hugo Cabret” by Brian Selznick and the movie based on the book “Hugo.”
The tween program is for ages 8-12. Participants will read the book beforehand and then watch the movie at the library in a group, discussing things that are different or the same between the book and the movie version.
Copies of each month’s book are available for checkout at the library’s Children’s Desk.
