Let the library help with smart vacation planning
The Norman Public Library invites anyone thinking about a fall vacation, or already looking ahead to next summer’s plans, to learn more about how to plan a great trip and save a few dollars with resources available on the Internet.
The library offers an online travel planning class at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, in the Computer Training Center of the library, 225 N. Webster Ave.
The class will give an introduction to online travel resources, including sites for finding and booking flights and hotels, tips on comparison shopping and how to find the best travel deals. In the end, the goal is to help make more savvy travel customers.
Registration is requested to attend the class, as there are a limited number of computer work stations in the Computer Training Center.
For more information or to register, visit the library, call 701-2697 or go online here .
