Purcell invites families for Chinese Family Story Time
The importance of family has a special place in Chinese culture. The Purcell Public Library, as part of its commemoration of this year’s PLS Big Read, will be celebrating families at a special program.
The library hosts a Chinese Family Story Time at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 17. The program features stories, activities, music and crafts for all ages that will celebrate the Chinese culture of family.
In addition, a light dinner will be provided, with participants able to eat with chopsticks, or forks if they’re a little less brave.
Registration is not required to take part.
