Purcell Public Library
The Purcell Public Library is joining with a number of community supporters to host its Daddy Daughter Dance, beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Purcell Public Schools Administration Building, 919 ½ N. 9th St. (adjacent to the library). The event has been moved back a week from its original date to the forecast of poor weather conditions on the original weekend.
Dads and daughters are encouraged to dress up and enjoy dancing, snacks, a photo booth and more entertainment.
The event is offered free of charge, but so as many families as possible can enjoy the event, there is a limit of six tickets per adult for the event. Guests must have their tickets in hand at the door to gain entry.
Registration may be completed at the library or online. Tickets will be available at the library for pickup after registration has been completed. NOTE: All registrations for the original date have been transferred to the new event date. So, if you were registered to attend the Daddy Daughter Dance on its original date, your registration has been moved to the new date of Feb 15.
The event is offered free of charge thanks to the donations and sponsorship of many local organizations. To date that list includes the Purcell Register, Purcell Municipal Hospital, Sonic Drive-In, Rodney’s Pizza, Natural Look Salon, Ruby’s Inn and Restaurant, John Mantooth, Attorney, McClain Bank, CARE Inc., Hallmark Leisure Estates LLC, the Purcell Rotary Club, Friends of the Purcell Library, Turner Drug, Darwin and Debbie Tims, Sunset Estates of Purcell, Auntie Mae’s Antiques and Collectibles, Envy Martial Arts, Cara’s Sweet Café and Patriot Ford.
