The Purcell Public Library is combining some unusual ingredients to make a colorful and unique work of art at its next come-and-go craft program.
Children ages 12 and under can make salt watercolors at the program, taking place from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the library, 919 N. Ninth St.
Participants may come anytime during the program to combine food coloring and salt to then paint a picture or two. All supplies are provided by the library but could be a little messy, so participants are asked to dress appropriately.
Children are invited to make a creative craft on one Saturday of each month at the library.
Registration is not required to attend.
