Kids looking at the science of snow in Purcell program

The Purcell Public Library is looking for a few school-age children to transform into mad scientists. They’re invited to the library at 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, for an afternoon of “Mad Scientists at the Library” activities.

For this month’s edition of the program, children will learn about crystals and then use an interactive experiment to make snowflakes and indoor snowmen.

All supplies are provided by the library, and registration is not required in advance to attend.

For more information on the programs and services at the library, call 527-5546.
