Purcell teens set for a "Glow Bowl"

PinTeens in Purcell are turning the library into a unique bowling alley, with a “Glow Bowl” program at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, at the library, 919 N. Ninth St.

The program is part of the teens’ Summer Reading Challenge theme, “Own the Night,” and features two parts.

First, they’ll craft glow in the dark “bowling pins” out of large water bottles and glow sticks.

Then the games begin, as they will split into teams and turn out the lights for some glow-in-the-dark bowling. Snacks and drinks also will be provided.

Registration is not required to attend.

For more information, call the library at 527-5546.
