Purcell workshop looks at African American genealogy

The Purcell Public Library continues its monthly series on genealogy research with a nod toward Black History Month, in a program at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16,at the library, 919 N. Ninth St.
This month’s program focuses on resources available through the library and the Pioneer Library System for researching African American genealogy. Library Assistant Gary Rice has been leading genealogy classes for local residents for the last several months.
Space is limited so registration is required in advance to take part.
