Repurpose some old T-shirts in Shawnee’s “Tweak the T” programs
The Shawnee Public Library is helping local tweens and teens give old T-shirts a new life at a pair of Spring Break programs.
Tweens, ages 9 to 11, are invited to “Tweak the T” at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in Community Room A of the library, 101 N. Philadelphia Ave.
The following day it’s the teens’ (ages 12 to 18) turn, at 1 p.m. Friday, March 22.
Participants are asked to bring old T-shirts in any color, design or condition. From there, they’ll use their creativity and some supplies provided by the library to make a new creation from the shirts.
Registration is not required to attend.
