The Shawnee Public Library is busy with activity for all ages in its Summer Reading Program schedule in the coming days.

Children and Families
2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 – Don’t Daub Dirt, this summer’s presentation from longtime storyteller Al Bostick, a regular at many past Summer Reading Program efforts at the library.
2 p.m. Wednesday, June 19 – Get Down to Dance, with local dance instructor Rachel Hendricks showing participants a variety of fun and easy moves. Registration and a signed release form are required in advance.
2 p.m. Saturday, June 15 – Break New Ground with Genealogy, presented by Pioneer Library System Local History and Genealogy Resources Librarian Kathryn Ramsay. She will share tips on new websites and other resources to dig up facts on family history.
