Organize and preserve family recipes with Shawnee workshop

The Shawnee Public Library is giving local residents a lesson in “Cooking Up Your Family History,” at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 26, in Community Rooms A and B of the library, 101 N. Philadelphia Ave.

Participants will get ideas for preserving family recipes and memories as they create a keepsake family cookbook. It’s a good addition to genealogy research within a family or as a standalone item.
