Saturday Morning Math series continues in Pottawatomie County
The Pioneer Library System’s Pottawatomie County Literacy Program is extending its tutoring reach to math.
“Saturday Morning Math” is scheduled from 9 to 10 a.m. each Saturday in September, in the Computer Training center of the Shawnee Public Library, 101 N. Philadelphia Ave.
The class is offered for teens or adults and is limited to 15 participants. The class would help such people as adults preparing to take their GED exam or students taking subjects like algebra, geometry, calculus, trigonometry or more.
Classes will be led by instructors Martin Hertz and Rob Strouse and take place each Saturday morning through Sept. 29 at the library. Participants are welcome to being their mathematics book or study guide.
Registration is required in advance to take part.
