SOKC group discussing "True Grit" in book discussion

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library’s Business Decisions Book Discussion Group is changing direction for a month and showing some "True Grit" with this year's PLS Big Read at the library and throughout the Pioneer Library System.

As part of this year's PLS Big Read, the group will host a discussion of the Charles Portis novel as part of the "Let’s Talk About it Oklahoma" series of the Oklahoma Humanities Council. The discussion takes place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, at the library, 2201 SW 134th St.

SOKC providing free class in email basics

The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library’s continuing series of free computer classes next features an Email Basics class, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, in the Computer Training Center of the library, 2201 SW 134th St.

Participants will learn the basics of email, including how to set up a free account. There will be a question-and-answer session as part of the class.
