SOKC offers pair of basic computer classes
The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library invites new computer users to a pair of upcoming informational classes at the library.
Searching the Internet, Tips and Tricks for Beginners, takes place at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, and focuses on ways to effectively search for information online with an introduction to several search engines.
Email Basics is set for 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, and gives an introduction to email and an opportunity for participants to sign up for their own free email account through an email provider.
Classes are for ages 18 and up and take place in the Computer Training Center of the library, 2201 SW 134th St.
There is no charge to take a class, but space is limited, so registration in advance is required.
