Dive back into the school year with help from your hometown library. The Southwest Oklahoma City Public Library will present a pair of informational programs titled “Homework Help 101,” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, and again 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sept. 7, for children, teens and/or their parents.
The classes take place in the Computer Training Center of the library, 2201 SW 134th St.
Participants will learn about a variety of online databases offered through the library, including the learning sites Brainfuse, Learning Express, Kids Search and the Mango Languages database for studying and learning foreign languages.
Participants also may bring a sample of their homework assignments so library staff can find ways for the programs to possibly help with specific assignments.
Space is limited so registration is required to attend either program.
