The Tecumseh Public Library’s monthly Talk of the Town Book Discussion will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the library, 114 N. Broadway St.

Tecumseh hosts afternoon of gaming

Tecumseh-area teens and tweens are invited to the Tecumseh Public Library for an afterschool afternoon of gaming.

“Gaming at Your Library” takes place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.

The library will have favorite video games and board games available for participants to play at the program, which runs until 6 p.m.

Book vs. movie? Tecumseh teens to read, watch “The Princess Diaries”

The Tecumseh Public Library hosts the latest edition of its “Books vs. Movies” series for teens at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28.

This month’s program looks at “The Princess Diaries.” Participants will watch the movie and talk about the differences between the movie and the book. Refreshments will be served.

Children, tweens can get finger knitting lesson in Tecumseh

Finger knitting

The Tecumseh Public Library will give children and tweens a lesson in finger knitting during a craft program at for 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb . 16, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.

The program is for ages 7 to 11. Participants will learn how to knit using only their hand and yarns. No knitting needles will be needed with this easy method.
