Children can “Dig into T-shirt Design” in Tecumseh

“Dig Into T-shirt Design!” with the Tecumseh Public Library while getting a sneak preview of the library’s Summer Reading Program at an upcoming craft event for children. The fun starts at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.
Children and tweens ages 5 to 11 can participate. Each child is asked to bring a plain t-shirt that they will be able to paint with a design of a flower, dinosaur or lightning bolt, in honor of the upcoming Summer Reading Program theme, “Dig Into Reading.”

Craft a Deco-Mesh Wreath in Tecumseh
Create a Deco-Mesh Wreath at a Tecumseh Public Library craft program at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.
Participants will use a variety of colors of mesh that is combined into the shape of a wreath for the front door or anywhere they might want as a decoration.

Tecumseh Public Library Closing

The Tecumseh Public Library will be closed on May 17th for cleaning, training, decorating, and summer reading kickoff prep.
The library should be back to normal on May 18th, and we appreciate your understanding.
While the library is closed, Shawnee and McLoud are open Friday, and the online resources are available all the time.
