Tecumseh Public Library
The Tecumseh Library is looking forward to several new changes as well as the things that we have been doing for several years. First, the library system passed a millage increase in May, 2008. One of the big changes we are making is changes in the hours of operation. All of the libraries have added additional hours, including Sundays! It gives you, our customers, more time to bring your families to the library. We understand how important that time is and hope to connect you, and yours, with joy of reading everyday of the week.
Also, we have made a great effort to engage the teens in library activities. Beth Lyle, our Teen coordinator did a wonderful job with our teen this summer and she is starting a teen book discussion group at the end of August. Be sure to sign up. It will be a fun time and there’s sure to be some great snacks!
Speaking of book discussions…did you know we have a very lively, active adult book discussion group? Beth Lyle also leads this one and she does such a wonderful job. If you are interested just give us a call and we’ll get you the latest book for discussion that month.
We have many other programs that are scheduled monthly as well as one time only. Be sure to get a monthly calendar when you’re in the library the next time.
We look forward to seeing you in the soon!
