The Tecumseh Public Library is giving a new life to old shirts at an upcoming two-night craft program for adults.
They’ll be making T-Shirt Quilts at the programs, set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, and concluding at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.
Participants may bring their own shirts, including those they just want to recycle as well as some that may hold special memories but are almost worn out. The library also will provide recycled shirts as quantities last.
Each quilt will be made out of roughly 12 to 15 shirts.
Registration is required in advance to take part.
