 The classic story of The Hobbit has been made into an incredible movie journey this upcoming December. The Hobbit is known as the prequel to the larger than life saga of The Lord of the Rings from earlier years. In this tale, Bilbo Baggins, a respectable, well-to-do hobbit, lives comfortably in his hobbit-hole until the day the wandering wizard Gandalf chooses him to take part in an adventure from which he may never return.
Check out the book at your hometown library and enjoy the cinema's portrayal of the story.

Will you read this book To movie: The Great Gatsby?
 F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic, The Great Gatsby, is also making an appearance on the silver screen in December 2012. This story is about a well-to-do man who goes by the name Jay Gatsby. Gatsby still adores his old love, Daisy Buchanan, although she has married someone else, and he risks everything to lure her back into his arms.
If you haven't already read this classic, pick up a copy at your hometown library and then gather a group to go see the movie with you.
