December is here and while it isn't cold enough for snow yet, we have a silly poem to get you in the winter mood and celebrate the fun of snow:

I made myself a snow ball as perfect as could be.
I thought I'd keep it as a pet and let it sleep with me.
I made it some pajamas and a pillow for it's head.
Then, last night it ran away.
But first -- it wet the bed.

Winter Read

The PLS Winter Read doesn't require you to come to any special events. And if the weather is bad, you can do it all from home! Just visit www.justsoyouknow.us/winterread and register to start tracking what you're reading this winter.

Dec. 4 @ 5 p.m. - People vs. Boardom: Journey together through a fantasy realm to discover treasure, fight monsters, and triumph over adversity in the dark night. A variety of d20 tables will be open. New and experienced players welcome. Food provided.

Dec. 4 & 11 @ 6:30 - 8 p.m. - Tuesday Tutors: University of Oklahoma students work one-on-one with students to provide assistance with any school subject or assignment. Tutors are open first-come, first-served. No registration required.


SOKC Public Library
