November brings cool air, Thanksgiving feasts, and fun.

Come in out of the cold to enjoy video games, book discussions, and delicious pie making at the library. While you're here, find Thanksgiving feast inspiration with these Thanksgiving themed cookbooks.

And, several long awaitied books and movies are released this month. Vampires, dragons, and a mysterious boy clocksmith are all coming to a library or movie theater near you. Read on to get the info!

WILDLIFE ESSAY CONTEST

The Oklahoma Wildlife Department is sponsoring an essay contest for 11-17 year olds who have completed an OK Hunter Education course. Entrants must write and submit and essay or short story by November 18, 2011 about Hunting: Sharing the Heritage, Archery: What I like about Archery in the Schools and Bowhunting, or the concept of the themes. Prizes:
11-14 age category: One boy and one girl will receive a scholarship for the Apprentice Hunter Program during the summer of 2011 at the YO Ranch, Mountain Home, TX.
15-17 age category: One boy and one girl will go on a guided antelope hunt in New Mexico.
