August is upon us! Summer fun is coming to an end and kids of all ages are gearing up for school. Checkout the library happenings for this month.

August 10 - Blanchard & McLoud Libraries Closed

Library Outreach

Just so you know - we are around town! When kids head to the classrooms so do your hometown librarians. If you are interested in letting your favorite educator know about what great service their local public library provides make sure they know about these library visits to local education groups.

   >> McLoud & Shawnee Librarians are visiting teachers of Dale on August 8 at 10:30.

   >> Noble Librarians will be at Katherine I. Daily Elementary 5-7:30 on August 9 and 5-6 August 10; Pioneer intermediate from 4-5 August 14; Hubbard Elementary from 5-8 August 14.

   >> Norman Librarians will visit Norman Area Home Educators Back to School Night on August 17 and Goldsby Community Back to School Night on August 18.

   >> SOKC Librarians will be at Briarwood Elementary August 9 from 6:30-8:30; August 14 from 10-11 at the Earlywine YMCA.

If you are interested in having a librarian visit your school contact your hometown library branch manager to arrange a visit!
