A lot of people ask how much does it cost them to have a library in a community. A better question is-- How much does it save you to use the library?

The Maine State Library set out to answer this question and created a Library Calculator. Maine libraries were kind enough to share the code and we've updated it with information specific to the Pioneer Library System and your hometown libraries.
