Join historical fiction author Carolyn Meyer and scientist and author Anne Weaver, Friday October 23rd at 6:30pm to 8:30pm, for an evening of reading, writing and conversation. The authors will discuss the process of researching historical figures, fiction writing, and writing for young readers. This workshop is free and open to adults and teens who love to write!

Anne is a paleoanthropologist, with a Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico and is the author of The Voyage of the Beetle. She taught evolutionary anthropology for many years and is now a full time writer living in Santa Fe.

Carolyn is the author of more than 50 books for young readers, including The True Adventures of Charley Darwin, White Lilacs and Mary, Bloody Mary, the first book in her popular Young Royals series. She lives with her husband in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Please note that parking near the Norman Public Library will be limited on the evening of the workshop due to the Book Sale, so wear your walking shoes!
