Dr. Robert Nairn of the OU WaTER center will be the featured speaker at the November Science Cafe Norman. The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 5 at 7 p.m. in conference room A/B.
Dr. Nairn will talk about his work using natural, environmentally sustainable methods to passively treat the toxic mine water at the Tar Creek Superfund Site. Can Tar Creek thrive again? Come hear Dr. Nairn talk about his group's success.
As always, the community is invited and encouraged to attend Science Cafe Norman and be a part of this fascinating community science discussion.
