Is your New Year’s resolution to read more books? Then keep that resolution by joining Lit Lovers book club in room A on Tuesday, January 5^th at 6 p.m. as they discuss The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

The Alchemist follows the adventures of Santiago, an Andalusian shepherd boy, after he has a dream about finding treasure in the ancient pyramids of Egypt. He sells his sheep then takes off after his dream. His journey takes him from Spain to Morocco, and then finally to Egypt. Along the way he meets an array of interesting characters that have an effect on his journey. Santiago’s story is timeless. Its about the faith, power, and courage we have within us to pursue our dreams. So join Lit Lovers to discuss this inspirational fable.
