The Pioneer Library System wraps up the 2013 edition of The Big Read by welcoming author Tobias Wolff to Oklahoma.
Wolff will make public presentations at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, at the Geiger Center at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, and later that evening at 7 p.m. at the Longfellow Middle School Auditorium in Norman.
Wolff is the author of “Old School,” the selected novel for this year’s Big Read. The book looks at the relationships and challenges of a group of teens at a boarding school in the northeastern United States in the early 1960s. Students are competing in a writing contest for a chance to meet a famous author and the storyline centers on some of the rules some of them break in trying to win.
